With 46 TVs, Benchmark is the perfect place to catch a big game. They serve standard bar fare and cocktails. The place is large enough for you and your pet to play catch on their fully retractable roof, covering the second floor or on the 36-seat patio. They are one of the few restaurants that have a full dog menu, which includes $2 chicken breasts and $1 mini burgers. They show a lot of pet love! An Italian restaurant with a spacious patio, 312 Chicago serves great food (try their salmon or cavolini) and dishes off some of the best service – not just to people, but their pets as well. Pooches get treats during their #wagginweekends, where they are offered their own menu of chicken and pasta, salmon and white rice with doggie biscuits, or a “beefsicle” for dessert.

Known for being a dog-friendly joint, it’s no wonder that Aberdeen Tap is this year’s host of Pints and Puppies-Pup Crawl, which will be held on April 22, 2017.  A portion of the proceeds will go toward local charities supporting dog rescue, and tickets include 2 craft beers and unlimited photobooth sessions with your pet. On normal days, you can find multiple dog walkers hanging out here, especially Wednesdays, when they have $5 burgers.

Clark Street Ale House

This longtime River North bar is a good spot to grab beers. They have a large selection of local beers, and offer a sampler of 3 beers for $7. Grab some popcorn at the machine near the restrooms, and drink at their spacious dog-friendly patio which offers water bowls for dogs. Don’t forget to bring your dog to one of their monthly dog parties.

Located at the base of the Dana Hotel and Spa, this 30-seat patio is the best place to have brunch. They have gluten-free options, but indulge a bit and try their crepes! Pamper your pet as well, with their “Dog Patio Package” which costs $10 and includes a signature water bowl, plushie and “Tails in the City” treat.

For a luxurious place, Nellcote is one of the few places that allow pets to dine with the owners all year round. Have the Lobster Hash with rich hollandaise sauce, or avail of the “Bone Appetit” happy hour on Saturdays and Sundays from 3-5 pm, which includes various food and drink choices for you, and treats for your pup.

Roots Pizza

Wanna grab a pizza after a tiring run with your dog? Go to Roots Pizza, which will serve you and your pet as well. Grab one of their thin crust pies and a beer, and get your dog an all-natural rawhide bone for $3.50 each, or pig ears for $3.
