Nothing beats a good wine bar; a great place to relax with friends or get to know someone a little bit better at. Chicago’s Loop is blessed with many amazing wine bars – but which are our favorites?
Our new blog aims to answer that question! Without further ado here is our list of the best wine bars in the Chicago Loop.
Kicking off our blog on the best wine bars in the Chicago Loop is Vol 39 over at 39 South La Salle Street. Those of you who know this place are already nodding; Vol39 is a great bar with amazing service, gorgeous décor and amazing cocktails and drinks. You can also find live music here! It’s a little pricier than some other establishments but you can taste where the money went in their cocktails. It’s on the second floor but look for a sign reading “The Grey.”
Land & Lake Kitchen
Next up on our blog on the best wine bars in the Chicago Loop is the brand new Land & Lake Kitchen over at 81 E. Upper Wacker Drive (inside the London House Hotel). It’s not just an epic name; the L&LK is an epic establishment too! The ambiance is great (comfy chairs too!) and the service matches it. Their wine selection is fantastic and the food is amazing (we sampled the chicken and onion rings) too.
Finishing out our blog on the best wine bars in the Chicago Loop is Remingtons at 20 N. Michigan Ave. You’ll love the large open windows (especially during the summer) and overall décor. They have a big wine room along with draft beer and cocktails. The food here is great too; we sampled the blackened Ahi with red onions and found it delicious!
We hope you have fun at whichever of these Chicago Loop wine bars you hit up but please remember to drink responsibly!
